Our Story
With over 15 years of manufacturing experience, we've lived the challenges of selling made-to-order products online. Existing shopping carts just didn't get it. They handled off-the-shelf inventory and fell apart on custom manufacturing. We needed both in one system.
So we built our own. What started as an internal tool to run our production sites became something bigger. We realized other manufacturers, craftspeople, and makers faced the same frustrations we did.

Why "Kaniva"?
Kan- The Roots
From Kanban, the lean visual workflow system (Japanese for "signboard"). A subtle nod that lean practitioners will recognize.
-iva The Spirit
A Latin suffix suggesting life, action, vitality (think "viva"). Modern and approachable, not cold or industrial.
Tongan The Stars
In the Tongan language, Kaniva refers to the Milky Way — a fitting symbol for the vast possibilities ahead.

You Pick How You Pay
Pay As You Go is $0/mo + 2% of sales, so you pay nothing until you sell. Solo is $49/mo for up to 200 orders a month; Shop is $129/mo with no order cap. Both have a 0% platform fee. Every plan includes every module. Card processing is separate on all of them.
Built for Stock and Made-to-Order
Pick and ship from your own shelves, dropship, or resell from supplier feeds. When an order has to be built, our product builder handles complex configurations, custom options, and dynamic pricing that off-the-shelf platforms can't match.
