Last week's ticket assistant learned to talk. The rest of the week went to products: how many you sell, and how they're found.
New this week
An AI phone receptionist
Stores with AI Ticket Triage can connect an AI phone assistant. It knows what the live chat knows (your business, your products and verified order lookups) and speaks naturally, reading prices out loud in short sentences.
- When a caller asks for a person, or the call needs one, it transfers to your phone number. If no one can take it, it takes a message
- Every call becomes a ticket with the transcript and a recording link
- Calls it handled fully close themselves; calls that need follow-up stay open and notify your phone
- Set it up under AI Triage → Settings → Voice receptionist
Product Sales report
A new Product Sales report shows how many units of each product you sold over any dates, with revenue, number of orders and average price. Sort by any column, click through to the product, or export to a spreadsheet.
Changing a product's web address keeps old links working
When a product's web address changes, Kaniva adds a redirect from the old one, so bookmarks, shared links and search rankings still land on the product. Redirects show under Admin → Redirects, where you can edit or remove them.
Smaller things that add up
- SEO Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords on the product page now save
- Product descriptions and SEO fields sent from connected tools now show on your storefront
