New this week
Order alerts, even with the tab closed
Tap the bell at the top of the admin and your computer or phone gets a notification for every new order, with the order number, total and whether it needs shipping. Tap it to open the order. On an iPhone, add Kaniva to your home screen first.
Install the admin as an app
Install Kaniva from your browser and it opens in its own window, with your store's name and colour as the icon. No download or app store. If your internet drops, you see a friendly page until it's back.
Void a shipping label
Click Void next to any box's label that hasn't started moving. Kaniva asks the carrier for a refund, takes the cost off the order, and puts the box back to packed, ready for a new label.
Restyle your store in one click
Ten colour presets, from Workshop Green to Safety Orange, each with a preview. Try one, adjust any colour, and nothing changes until you save. Revert Changes puts your old colours back.
Smaller things that add up
- Shoppers can choose two to six products per row, and you set the default in theme settings
- Adding a part to the cart always adds the right one, including part numbers that start with digits
- Adding your own web address now sets up its secure connection by itself when you click Verify DNS

Daily backups are now also copied to a separate offsite location.
